Although landscapes are often considered public goods, they frequently receive inadequate attention in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), particularly in Poland. This neglect often leads to visible degradation during investment processes. This article examines the case of the Vistula Spit Canal, currently the largest engineering project under construction in Poland.

Supporting Ukraine in rebuilding the country’s power, transport and industrial infrastructure will require the utilisation of international financial institutions’ resources. The main requirement for receiving them is the use of environmental protection management instruments that protect natural resources, health and wellness of society as a whole and of individuals.

With the environment in mind we aim to reduce CO2 emissions. With the current developing and expanding importance of hydrogen in the world, should not current technological solutions be developed and adapted to use hydrogen?

The HYDROGIN research project involves the construction of a two-way hydrogen production installation. Very shortly a Spatial development plan for internal sea waters, territorial sea, and the exclusive economic zone on a scale of 1: 200,000 will be adopted, which will unblock the awarding of new concessions for the construction of further wind farms in the Baltic Sea. In November 2019, the European Commission presented the European Green Deal - a flagship plan to make Europe climate neutral by 2050. Brussels promotes joint actions on this issue, including improving energy efficiency, increasing the share of energy from renewable sources or increasing electromobility.
